    Hi,
I got married last week to a resident, I am a citizen. We wanted to know if my status as a citizen and being now his wife will expedite his citizenship.
    Thank You,

Default Adjustment of Status After Marriage

You can file an I-130 petition for Alien Relative, and I-485 application for permanent residence. It should expedite the process.

In order to apply for citizenship he must either be a legal permanent resident for 5 years, or married to a U.S. citizen for 3 years. So if he recently became an LPR, yes, he would be able to apply for citizenship sooner now that the two of you are married.
