Default Notice of Final Appealable Order

My question involves divorce in the State of: Ohio

I recently filed a divorce case in Ohio against my spouse. My spouse failed to response, and I received ex-parte decree. It was a simiple divorce with no money or children involved.

When checking the docket, I noticed that "Notice of Final Appealable Order" was sent to my spouse. I did not get similar notice. I didn't send my spouse a copy of decree yet (it was just few days ago).

What is this "Notice of Final Appealable Order"? Is it basically copy of divorce decree that judge signed with instruction on how to appeal? If so, I don't need to send her a copy as well?

    Thanks.

It's exactly what it says - that there's a final order, and that the order may be appealed.

You can check with the court clerk to see what they served on your ex. If they served the order, you don't also need to serve the order. If not, serve a copy and file a proof of service with the court.
