My question involves criminal law for the state of: Alaska.
I am currently on felony probation in Alaska. I came here to visit and got into trouble. I plan to return to California after serving 17 months in prison and successfully completeing 8 months of parole with no violations. I am now on probation but plan on moving back to California. My question is: will Alaska activey search for me in California? Will a warrant exist in California for my arrest? What are the odds that Alaska will leave me alone that far away? Note that I plan on continuing to make restitution payments just incase they do get me, then I can transfer as soon as I am released (I cant transfer now because I owe about 4000$ in fines).
