    Default Oregon Shoplifting

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Oregon.

I was caught shoplifting. I know I was wrong and am willing to accept the consequences. All I am wondering is when I go to court, if I say I was wrong and that I will just pay the fine or whatever they want to give me will that be ok.

Do I acutally need to go thru the process of getting an attorney or can I just go and say I was wrong and go from there. I would really like to get the whole thing done in one visit. I see no reason to fight it, it was my mistake I am willing to accept the consequences of my actions so can I just go in and tell them that?

Does anyone have any idea of what I can expect if I go in and do that? Aren't they usually easier on people who admit it upfront instead of trying to deny what they did?
