    Default Chapter 7 Again

My question involves bankruptcy in the state of: Washington

I filed chapter 7 in 2002 and was wondering if I could file again and my wife needs to file as well. Some websites say after 6 years and some say after 8 years. How is the best way to do this?

You cannot file for Chapter 7 bankruptcy again if you have obtained a Chapter 7 discharge within the past eight years.
