    Default Online Businesses LLC

My question involves business law in the state of: IL

hello everyone... i have a few questions for you guys.

i am starting a business an LLC. my businesses(websites) revenue will be made all online and will be paid by customers and also check will come in from several of sources google, expedia, partypoker, ebay and many many more (i will be the only owner with no workers) :

    1. would it be better for me to file in my home state of IL or go the delaware or nevada route even though my business is all online?

    2. would it be wise for me to hire a registered agent to handle those things they talk about.

    3. since there is multiple sites should i just put them all under the one company or make an llc for every company?

this is all i have for right now and i want to thank you guys in advance for your help thanks alot

Most small businesses find it easier to incorporate in their home state, rather than incorporating elsewhere then registering to to business in their home state.

A registered agent simply accepts service of process for you. You should be able to find a service that will perform as a registered agent for a modest annual fee, if you wish.

Knowing nothing about your business plan or liability, I can't tell you how to structure it. If it's just a bunch of low-value, low-traffic websites generating ad revenue, there's probably no need to incorporate each one separately - that would generate needless fees and paperwork.

    Hi,

Those wishing to work online business should do their research first and be wary of fraudulent website and online services which advertise work from home opportunities. Always read the fine print and check whether the organization is legitimate before signing up. And before you take the leap, do weigh up the pros and cons carefully.
