Here is what has happened. One of the two creditors admitted to bad service and offered to vacated the judgement with prejudice and not do any additional filing to my credit reports for $500, we took them up on that offer.
The other creditor Palisades was contacted by my lawyer who offered them the same deal. Palisades refused the deal demaning seventy-five percent of the debt to settle the issue but would be withdrawing their claim to judgement because they cannot produce proof in time. They pretty much said that the judgement will be dropped but they will still have a mark on my credit report, which isn't the case since the original debt is outside the seven year limit on reporting. I'm sure that the withdrawl will be done without prejudice and since they are voluntarily doing it, we can't amend it.
In the end, I know this means that the judgement will come off my credit report and they will have no claim to seize any of my assets as it stands but does it also mean they can try and come after me again at a later date?
