My question involves criminal law for the state of: Michigan
I received and MIP in january and was sentenced 1 year advisment. A month later in a different county, i received a second MIP. It was taken under HYTA status, and i was sentenced 6 months probation and other requirements i already fulfilled. If I complete my probation for my second MIP with no problems, will i have to go back to court for the first one when my advisement is up?
I havn't received any word from the court where I got my first MIP, and I'm thinking maybe since it doesn't count as a conviction, i won't have to go back to court for it. Please give me a definitive or at least probable answer if you have one.
Thanks in advance.
