My question involves expungements or pardons for the state of: MN
In the late '90s i was charged with 3 felonies all aide and abetting, 2 criminal damage to property, and 1 third degree burglary all three were on stay of imposition with 5yrs probation. Which i successfully completed and i have not been in any trouble since.
I was told by both the prosecutor and my public defender that upon completion the conviction would be removed from my record and it would only show up as an arrest with no conviction. Which i have found out now was either a lie or incompetence on there part. Is there any way I can get what I was promised. I now have a wife and kids and it's affecting my ability to support them and they don't deserve that.
