My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: North Carolina
I was issued a speeding ticket for doing 50mph in a 35mph zone. The actually posted speed limit at the location was 45mph. This area does have a school zone but the time was 4:19pm as stated on the ticket and the school zone ends at 3:27pm. I did not understand the officer when he read me the ticket (I was nervous and did not ask him to repeat) and I did not have my reading glasses on until after he left. The location given US*** at or near intersection **** is clearly in a 45 mph speed zone and the speed does not change for at least 1-1/2miles up the road where it goes to 35mph. He passed me coming the other way, turned around and clocked me at the location given and then pulled me over. I had already been thru the 35mph zone before he even passed me coming the other way. Since he gave a location, time, etc on the ticket and it was clearly in a zone marked 45mph what are my chances of getting the ticket thrown out if I bring evidence (pictures) showing the facts. I still am guilty of 50 in a 45 and can they change the ticket to that?
