Default Will an MIP Charge Always be on My Record

Hi I recieved an MIP in Michigan by blowing a .061 and I plead guilty at court. I payed the fine of $200 and that was it. I was wondering if there is a way to get that removed from my record now. This happened about a year and a half ago.

You may apply to have your conviction set aside after 5 years have passed from the date of your conviction.

... Assuming you don't have any other, and don't get any more, criminal convictions.
