    Question Is This Worth Fighting

My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: South Carolina

I need a little help on this ticket i recently recieved. The deal was i was going over a hill and one officer had a car pulled in the 35mph zone. After i made it through the 35 zone no speed limit was posted so as i proceeded down the highway it was also night time and a officer was hiding with no lights on or anything. And he didnt do anything but when i entered another 45 zone with the limit posted another officer was waiting for me with his brakes applied and he pulled me over. he quoted " The reason i pulled you over was because my buddy said he clocked you 63 in a 45". But what i dont get is that there was no speed limit posted and i know for a fact that i wasnt tarveling that fast it was more like 53-54 because the cruise control was engaged to prevent me from speeding down the incline. Im wondering is this worth fighting and what all should i bring with me to the hearing and also i got it 2 days ago and the hearing is next month i thought they gave you at least 3 months? thanks for all your help.

If it's close by then yes, it costs you knowing to challenge a ticket. The main reason tickets are overturned is the cop doesn't show up. If that happens then you ask for a dismissal.

If he does show up attack the evidence with awkward questions. -
'You issued a speeding ticket to the defendant, is that correct?
    "Yes"
"How did you determine he was speeding?"

You'll probably lose anyway but it's a worthwhile educational experience.

Normally when you show for court they will reduce the fine and points so it is worth it to show.
