My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: ARIZONA

Back in July I rear-ended a driver. We were both stopped at a red light. I hit him at about 4 or 5 MPH. He was in his work vehicle. My car and his both had about $800 worth of damage (paint, scratches, etc).

Soon after he complained of back pain. He obtained an attorney and my insurance company told me he filed a medical claim against the policy. Did not complain of injuries at the site (of course). He was about 45 or 50 years old.

What is the likelihood that he would be awarded in excess of $100,000 (my limits)? I guess I am most worried that they have not already settled (5 months seems like a long time). I will be moving out of state next month and would probably be unable to appear in any proceedings.
