My question involves criminal law for the state of: tennessee

I was at bestbuy yesterday, checking out a headset for my computer. I was unsure of the specs and if it would work for my computer or not so I tried looking for the manuel inside the box for the actual specs of the headset. I was in the isle and never attempted to put anything on me or ever moved. A manager came by and said I was attempting to steal that and I needed to follow her.

I was in shock and she had 2 other employees follow and said I could not leave till the cops got there. Would not let me use my phone or their phone. Would also not let me speak to my wife when she walked in the store looking for me. Then when my wife finally got there, she started to get accused of stealing also.I work at a doctors office and many people I knew came by and saw this going on. The cop got there and laughed, took my story in his report and wrote me a ticket. Told me I should have no problems fighting this in court. I was wondering if there is any legal action I can take against Best Buy
