My question involves a careless driving ticket from the State of: South Dakota.
I was driving to town yesterday afternoon and i was following a car going 51 in a 55 so i decided to pass. While I was passing a car came over a small hill. The area was not marked as a no passing zone. I sped up to get around him and into my lane. When i met the car it turned out to be a highway patrol. He pulled me over and said that i was driving carelessly and said he clocked me at 68 and that if i have to speed up to pass i shouldnt pass and he gave me a careless driving ticket. I am only 15 so they are taking my license for 30 days and i live out of town and have no other way to get to school than to drive but they will not let me be eligible for a school permit. Should i go to court to try to get a school and work permit???
