My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: North Carolina
Following some bad decisions and a conviction, my license was suspended for one year on March 14, 2008. I can get it back in about 3.5 months but I was wondering what I would need to do to get a Limited Driving Privilege.
I have had the required assessment and have taken my ADETS class. I will have insurance in about 2 weeks, but I just need to know what forms to fill out and all of the red tape stuff. Thank you in advance. Also, please explain it rather than pointing me to a nc g.s., thanks. Also, is there any chance that I could get a provision put on it that would allow me to drive within a 2 or 3 hour window on Sundays? I need to drive back from my parents house to my dorm on that day.
One more thing. Would it be worth the trouble to request a hearing to get the suspension reduced or abolished? I haven't driven in nearly a year and need to drive for work and school.
