are you stating from your own experience its really not worth it. I mean I don't see no sense in changing her name because one day she will get married and it will be changed any way but my mother and a few others are telling me I should change it so all my children have the same last name. But I dont wanna screw my daughter up. She is 5 1/2 now. Everytime I say to her do you want to be and ill say her first name and my last name and she says not im and she will say her current first and last name.
Don't bend to the pressure. YOU do what YOU feel is right; that's the bottom line. My last name is Salviati but my siblings (all 5 of them) last name is Baker (long story). Either way, I am still my mother's son and my siblings brother. That will never change. As the old adage goes "A rose by any other name is still a rose."
