Default Disorderly Conduct in New York

Hello - I recently received a disorderly conduct citation in NY (violation, not misdemeanor). I went to court and the charges were dismissed. Is there anything else I need to do, or be aware of, when applying for a job that could set me back? Or am I in the clear?

Thanks in advance for the help.

In NJ you could Petition the Court w/ Jurisdiction for an immediate expungement of the arrest.

Check w/ a NY lawyer, shouldn't cost much, max: $1500.00

    Thanks for the response.

In NY, since this was 1) a violation and not a misdemeanor and 2) a dismissed case, I was under the impression that there would be no record of this incident (i.e. no record to be expunged). Am I mistaken?

There will be a record. But it's not a criminal record.
