I understand getting a PD, but what will that cost me? I don't have any money. So let me get this absolutely straight. Pleaing not guilty and asking for a public defender will not make my situation worse and possibly throw me into a trial?
I just want to know what a PD is going to cost...

No prob "M" maybe between us he got message. A Public defender either cost nothing or very small amount compared to private Attorney. Its based on your income

I don't have money and I want to get through this the smartest way possible.
Plead not guilty or no plea at all, ask for a PD which I have no idea what it's going to cost me, and then ask for diversion if applicable. I get it.
