Default Can a 17 Year Old Move Out with Partial Permission

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Washington.

I have described my situation in the emancipation thread, but am trying to take more reasonable action that would hurt my family less.

I have a place in which I can live rent free, I have job offerings, and I am attending night courses at the local community college. My step-dad (who is married to my mother) has stated that he thinks it would be healthier for me to move out. However, my mother has said no.

Can I move out with only one of their permission? What if I had him write it out just in case my mother tried to accuse me of running away?

What part of "your step father is a legal stranger and has no legal authority" confused you?

Yes. Even if he is married to your mother and has partial parental custody of you.

If mom says no, it's no.

No part of it confused me, no need to be rude. Obviously I'm looking for help to get out of an abusive situation, if you dont want to help then dont say anything. I didn't state that he had custody before, so I was adding it.

Apparently, I did need to be rude.

When you get an answer and your response begins the ever popular "what if" or "even if" cycle, you are going to get shut down quickly.

What, exactly, do you mean by "partial parental custody"?
