    Default Chapter 13 to 7 Coversion

    I filed chpt 7 in april of 2000 and was discharged in jUly 2000. i needed to file again in 2007 it was not 8 yrs for chpt 7 so i filed cht 13 my attorney assured me that i could convert after the 8 yrs was up which like i said was april.. so i need advice is this possible? can i convert....? or not?

    Probably but you will need to consult your bankruptcy attorney to see if you currently qualify for a chapter 7.
