My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: Pennsylvania
My husband and I have received a call from a collection agency claiming a $338.00 tuition debt from Penn State. He paid tuirtion directly(no student loan) but left the school before the semeser finished. This debt is 15 years old and we believe the statute of imitations has run out. He did get federal students loans when attending another school and they have been paid in full. Does the statute of limitations apply to direct tuition payment with no loan obtained?
Thank you!!
