    Default Re: Sealing Vs. Expungement

In Indiana, you are only eligible for expungement if you were arrested but no charges were filed, or charges were filed but dropped due to mistaken identity, a determination that no actual offense was committed, or absence of probable cause.

If more than fifteen years have passed since your discharge from probation, incarceration, or parole, you can petition the state police to limit access to your criminal history. If this succeeds, access is limited to criminal justice agencies.
