Ok let me start by explaining i was getting ssdi and ssi up until the beginning of 2005 it elapsed do to my not getting the paperwork back in time (was going through messy divorce). I just applied again last week and got a call today and the woman said oops sorry i see that you don't have enough work credits for ssd so i am going to have to pass this over to SSI department. How can i have had enough credits just 3 or so years ago and now i don't? Also with child support and my husbands income we make 45 thousand a year so do we make to much for me to get SSI? We have 7 children total that live in the home the oldest is 18 and in college. Thanks in advance for any help.
Also I seen where it said something about them not counting the spouses income if they do not live in the same household is that true? My husband stays away from home alot and if that is true he will just move on out.![]()
