It would be rare. Normally, the most you have to do is complete a representative payee report each year if you are receiving soc. sec. payable to you for your minor daughter. As long as nothing seems out of the ordinary, they don't ask to see actual receipts or make a home visit. My father (before he passed away) for many years received soc. sec. for another person & only completed the report & I currently receive it for another person (family member) & have for 20 yrs. & have had to do nothing but complete the report each year.
