    Default Eviction in Wisconsin

My question involves an eviction in the state of: Wisconsin
I'm being evicted from my home of 15 years by my daughterinlaw. I am 1 1/2 months behind rent and had a previous agreement with my son inlaw to pay bi weekly until caught up. His wife does not want to wait and has told him I move out or she leaves him, so I was given a 5 day pay or vacate notice. She doesn't care that I paid for central air to be installed on both halves of the duplex, paid for a new water heater, paid for a new heating system, and other numerous repairs and fixtures. These things were done by me with promise of repayment or installation of new carpet, flooring, bath and kitchen remodeling that have yet to be done. Also the basement walls have partially caved in to the point of water running into the basement bedroom and bath rendering them unusable. The walls in the basement have moved in 14" and are now 1" away from the gas pipe. They say they can't afford the repairs. I don't have the money to move right now, what should I do. Contact your county government to see if they can provide emergency housing assistance.

Thanks, but I already know my options. Our Housing assistance program here is a 2 month waiting list. What I was looking for was information on legal rights, In WI after the 5 day notice the landlord must file a small claims suite, the hearing date will be set and a trial date will be set at that time to present evidence. If the tenant loses they have 28 days to vacate, if not the sheriff will remove in 12 days. I do owe rent 960 dollars, but a verbal contract was made to pay bi-weekly. The landlord's wife does not want to stand by this and does not care that I have paid 3200 dollars in improvements with promise to me to fix the basement walls, bathroom remodel (the floor and and tub are badly broken) and new flooring in return. Enough is enough and I wish to fight this by either compensation in rent or cash. Also the city building inspector has the paperwork ready to deem the dwelling untenantable should I choose to go further with this meaning even if I lose I would be granted 60 days before removale. This would cost the landlord in excess of 25,000 dollars to bring the building up to code for habbitation.
