My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Florida
So this is the story. The Former manager took a Job at another location and has been there and 1 other location for about 4 and 1/2 years,(not temporary, he went to be a General manager) but he has been running them into the ground. So we went through 3 managers(at my location) and then I took the job(I havent had ANY COMPLANTS!!). Ive been doing this position for 2 and 1/2 years and The owner told my General manager to make the former manager coming back "happen" So now i get the shitty end of the stick so to say I not only get demoted I get a reduction in pay! I think Im being discriminated against because The former manager and The owner are all buddy buddy and Weve never been buddy buddy, also I got less of a Christmas bonus than one of my employees!!!Not only has the person worked there for less time I have she was only the CAHSIER I have been there for going on 8 years! What should I do?
