Can a Song Title Be Copyrighted

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Florida

I have a question. Can you copyright the title of a song or is it just the lyrics that can be copyrighted ? Because if a title of a song can be copyrighted than that would mean that a lot of simple titles are taken, meaning that I cannot use titles such as " The Ocean " because it's already taken, so techically I need to research like 8000000000 songs just to make sure that " I Love You " hasn't already been copyrighted. I mean most titles are already used.

In virtually all cases, song titles of themselves will not be subject to copyright.
