    Unhappy Should I Be Concerned

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Florida

I'm concerned of an issue that arose today. First off, my probation officer is, and everyone i've talked to says this, is a jerk. Briefly, i was charged with a very serious crime Sex Batt with Injury to vic under 12 y.o.a., a crime that i couldn't prove that i didn't commit (not important). that was reduced to F3 Battery, adjutication withheld, and my probation will be terminated 4/5/09. Got a 5 year sentence, 1 year county (work release), 2 year community control (which was reduced to reg probation after 6 months) and then the rest reg. felony probation (@ 2years). Total 5 years. So, on my court papers it just states the normal felony probation with not drinking in excess, pay your fines (which i paid all a year and a half ago), don't break the law, report every month, random drug tests, and don't leave the county without permission. About one year and half into the suprivision they changed probation officers on me to the guy I have now, who comparred to the last guy, is a drill sergent. This morning when he came by to verify residence i was telling him about looking for a job since i was laid off last month, he noticed my girlfriends and roommates beach sand castle buckets and proceeded to ask me if i had children visting or coming over. I told him no, which i don't, ever, and I understand he's doing his job, it just makes me feel like a deviant (which i am not). He then asks if i know anyone with children and i told him my friend has a 2 year old. he asks how long i know him and i said about 8 months, we are in a band together (we don't play out yet we are still working on material and we are waiting until i get off of probation to do so). He seems to get very aggitated and asks what we do and i tell him that him, me, his wife and my fiance have dinner and she is there. He asks what kind of contact i have with her and i didn't understand what he ment and her clarifies, visual contact, and something else that i can't remember because he came at 6 am, i was half awake. He then asks my friends name and then says that i will give him my friends phone number before noon today, which i have. When i call him he asks if i knew that i am not supposed to hang out with 2 year olds. I didn't know what to say except "yes sir, it won't be an issue" I'm stressed out that i'm going to get violated when i didn't do anything wrong or violate any written order of my probation AND i had no idea that he never wanted me to be around kids that are of my friends. What do i do? Should i be a nervous wreck, like i am right now, or am i just over reacting?

I would estimate that he is going to confirm that you're not hanging around with that child. It sounds like you need to be very careful until your probation ends.
