Default Removing Eviction from a Credit Report

My question involves an eviction in the state of: Ohio
Is there any sort of legal grace period between when rent is due and when the landlord may file an eviction notice?

My case involved being two weeks late, the landlord thought I hadden't paid for the prior month which I had, and she filed the eviction which I now understand is on my credit. I paid her immediately for both that and the next months rent upon discovering this.

Do I have an recourse since this has adversely affected my credit, or is there any way of having it removed? I'd be happy with just having this off my credit.

    Nope.

If your rent is due on the first and you don't pay it, you may be served with a 3 day notice on the 2nd.

An eviction doesn't show up on your credit report unless it is actually completed, though. (Meaning you had to go to court and were actually removed from your residence.) Pull your credit and check.
