Your face. <Insert joke here> HAHAHA!! Just kidding.

What about land mines? LMAO!! Or a big ass dog...
You take that back! Leave my smiley alone. Now he's a sad face.

Or, big ass dog landmines. But it's Texas . . . almost everything there is bigger - cow landmines. Everything there is bigger I've noticed, well, at the waistline anyway. *hides*

Li, lib, liber . . . what's that word you used? I thought the only 2 political parties in Texas are conservative republican and extremely far right whack job republican? You stop with that big old fashioned L - word!

You could lace your entire yard with a monster supply of like itching powder. Or spoil some eggs and put them out there to be stepped on. Yeah, that could be fun.

Or just have one of your friends lie down in the yard and draw his chalk outline and throw up some tattered remains of yellow police looking tape. (I use a modified version of that. I also have various religious leaflets lying around it - staves off the door-to-door proselytize you to our fly by night direct to heaven type folks.)

A stray ankle high electric type fence could be good fun. Presumably it could be for opossum/racoon/stray cat control.

    Just be creative, yet legal.

Shooting at a trespasser that posses no threat to you is illegal. It can also be considered attempted murder, reckless discharge of firearm, and several other felony charges. You would cure no problems with this action.

Maybe you should talk to the local police, and neighbors and set up a block watch.

I'm a libertarian, not a liberal. At least not anymore.

Libertarians tend to take pro-liberty positions on both economic and personal issues. Liberals seek to finance a socialistic nanny-state by stripping our economic-liberties using socialistic incentives such as income tax, welfare, social security, and various our "entitlement" programs. Typial "Conservatives" are a bunch of right-wing religious fanatics hell bent on creating a glourios police by limiting our personal freedoms, eradicating the constitution, and spending tax dollars fighting wars which don't concern us. Both sides act based on the principal that the state can do no wrong...

How can this be? This is MY property we're talking about. Maybe your law only applies if you actually shoot the person. I have no intention of doing this. I simply wish to scare them off my land.

Well, it is Texas. Maybe there's some "annoying drug dealers across the street" exception in your neck of the woods. ^_^

It's not my law; it's our law. It applies to you no less than to me despite how much you dislike it.

While I appreciate you taking my joke and turning into a political lecture, but I'd like to state the obvious: the United States is a nation. Nations have governments. Our is theoretically the government of majority opinion.

If your view is the right one, then it should be of no moment to persuade people how wayward they are. (Ok, that's tongue-in-cheek)

OK now on a serious note.

If you really do have people dealing drugs in your area and the police are not doing anything about it after they are notified, then really I would be concerned.

Like I said before BE, I only work 80 miles from you. I would not mind giving your police dept a call and giving them a lecture. I will even tell them what to do (they would just LOVE that) NOT. I find it SHOCKING that this would not be investigaged. (ok you asked for the SHOCKING part)

My office investigates all drug crimes that are reported to us. I would hope the local police would do the same.

Well, I'd like to think the DEA would do so considering it's the DRUG Enforcement Agency . . .

If your local (if you're in a city) police won't do anything about, call the county, then the state, then e-mail ohmy.

I called the Fort Worth PD. They claim to be to busy to handle the situation... Figures...
