    Question Foreign Court Orders

    My question involves court procedures for the state of: CA


    Is it possible a foreign law agency can demand via court order the records of a subscriber from an ISP in the USA?

    Is so would they need to contact for example DOJ foreign affairs to broker the request, and service the order?


    Does this change if the ISP is based in the USA but the hosting company is Outside the US?

    I have read this term in my law dictionary, so your example rang a little bell, but I have no idea how it works per se, but it may help some:
