My question involves an eviction in the state of: California.Here is the nickel version: My wife and I own a manufactured home on leased land.We recently filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy. We were in the process to re-instate our with our lender and in that re-instatement our lender was willing to also add to the back end of our loan the late rent on the lease. We had the cooperation of the landlord,the bank and ourselves.the landlord did serve unlawful detainer and was holding off any further action so the loan could be processed. As everyone knows the banks are swamped with foreclosures and things seem to take a little longer. We were moving some stuff to storage and a notice of abandonment was placed on the house. 2 days later we came home to changed locks. We were NEVER served an eviction notice and there was no notice by the sheriff giving 5 days.Now this guy says that I have removed stuff from HIS house and is going to file a police report for theft.I dont believe that this was legal and I think that I should call the police due to him illegally locking me out. What are my rights???
