Red face Young, Pregnant and Felony Conviction

My question involves criminal records for the state of: Missouri
At 18 and 6 months pregnant I was facing charges for taking my moms car without permission. The judge gave me the option of staying in jail and waiting for a trial or taking the plea. Not wanting to have my daughter in jail, I took the plea. Not knowing that I wouldn't be able to get a decent job to raise her if I took the plea. what can I do? Is there any way to get it expunged or even reduced to a misdemeanor? Any suggestions are helpful or if anyone knows a lawyer in the St. Louis area that would be willing to help. thanks!
