Default Alienation of Affection in North Carolina

My question involves alienation of affection law for the State of: NC
I have several questions and my current situation regaurding Alienation of Affection and Criminal Coversation in NC. How often do these cases make it to court? How often do these cases win in NC?
My situation: Back in April I decided my marriage with my wife would not work and we went our separate ways. By the end of April, she pursued a relationship with another man. In July, we decided to reconcile, and I was going to return home. Her boyfriend asked her to marry him and she accepted, and stopped the reconciliation process. A few days later, she reconsidered, and I returned home. I was at home for about a month, where both her and her boyfriend kept trying to reconcile(there were numerous phone calls and she would even go to his house for hours), yet during this time she would email me love letters, and made it quite clear that we would make it work. At the begining of September, she ended the relationship with me, and now she is pregnant and does not know who the father is but believes it is her boyfriend. I do have evidence that proves that she is pregnant. Is this a case worth pursuing?

Given that you are the one who originally decided that your marriage was over, you'll have an exceedingly difficult time proving that your wife's boyfriend intentionally destroyed your marriage.

In states that still recognize such suits, damages are probably nominally capped, so this will be one consideration on your time and effort.

Please explain. I was the one who came back and tried to make it work, and she ended it after over a month of reconciliation.
