My question involves criminal law for the state of: Pennsylvania
About 3 weeks ago I was at a party outdoors and someone who was drunk had throw a full beer bottle into the fire. The bottle exploded and I and another friend got hit with fragments of the glass and started bleeding real bad from arms and face. Our other friend who was sober decided to drive us to the nearest hospital. Once we arrived at the hospital we told the nurses we were hit with a exploding glass bottle. (I and my friend are both 19). The nurse then asked if she should contact the police and we said no we just wanna get stitched up and leave. Anyways we ended up waiting at the hospital for 2hrs and as soon as we started getting stitched up the police show up asking all kinds of questions. They then questioned our friend who is 17 and didnt have a parent pressent about what happend. Then the one officer came into the room and gave me a breathalyzer and didnt say if i failed or not and didnt showed me my result. He did the same to my friend too.
I was wondering if there was anyway to fight the charged on reason that the hospital shouldnt have released information without our permission or that they should have ID'd us and showed us our breathalyzer results?
