    Default Doctrine of Equitable Estoppel

    My question involves paternity law for the State of: Southern US

    Can someone please explain to me the Doctrine of Equitable Estoppel? I have read several definitions on the subject and I still don't get it.

    You mean in the context of paternity cases? Where a husband is declined permission to dispute paternity? Or in some other context.
