    Question Moving with Deferred Prosecution

My question involves criminal law for the state of: North Carolina.

I have been in the Deferred Prosecution program for 2 months for a Felony B&E. I've started my community service, have paid all fees on time and haven't missed an appointment with my PO. I was wondering if it were legal for me to move to another county. I'm losing money and time that is desperately needed. I need a second job so I can pay off my $8,000 in restitution and still pay for basic necessities and moving to where I work and go to college would really save me a fortune.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Without your PO and the courts approval, you cannot move. And if you do, you will have violated your probation.

Ask your PO if you can transfer.
