Hi, Im a j1 visa holder who is already overstaying here in the U.S. I entered here in march and work for 3 1/2 months. I would like to know if I go back to my country will they arrest me if I voluntarily exit? Can I still go back in the U.S. I'm really confused cause maybe if I go to an airport they will arrest me in put me in jail.Another thing is, can a J1 holder go to another country even though she already had a petition in USCIS for her change of visa to F1? Cause I met her here in the U.S. but she is a J1 visa holder too.She would like to go with me in my country and get married. Can she go there? I've heared a foreigner can enter my country not longer than 21 days and should have a valid ticket going back or going to another port of entry. She is a ukrainian so, basically she is a European. Can she enter my country even if she only have one way ticket going their?Should she ask my country's embassy or can she just go there? I heard they will just automatically give her when she arrive in the airport by the immigration?
I really appriciate if someone can help me about this matter.![]()
