    Default Burglary Charge California

My question involves criminal law for the state of: CALIFORNIA

A family member has been charged with burglary.

He went into a locked room of the house that he worked out and worked for the owner of the house by using a key that they had access to and took $400-$600 out of a womens purse. he was caught on a hidden video camera that the owners installed as they suspected other monies missing in the past.

the owners of the house say that this has happened before but have no proof of anything besides this one incident.

I am very concerned for this family member and they have no other offenses on their record.

he has a lawyer and what do you think his chances are?

    what she he hope for?

    thanks

Only his lawyer can answer those questions. It hinges on what the charges are, how well his lawyer can defend the case and/or what plea deal his attorney and the prosecutors office can work out.
