Question Proof of Emancipation in Florida

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Florida

I looked through many threads before posting this one to no avail. If it has already been addressed, please forward me to that thread.

My question is this; how does an emancipated minor prove that he or she has been emancipated?

I will soon be a paramedic, and the consent law came up in class. A minor without a legal parent or guardian present gives us implied consent to treat them, unless they are emancipated. When I graduate, I will have put in many long hard hours to become a medic, and certainly do not want to lose my license over an issue such as this. My instructor was not sure of the law, so here I am.

Thank you all for your help in advance.

A emancipated minor will have court papers stating they are emancipated that should be with them at all times incase of circumstances like that.

You can read the laws in Title XLIII chapter 743 at www.flsenate.gov/STATUTES
