    Default Kentucky Medicaid

My question involves insurance law for the state of: Ky

I have Ky. medicaid and they are refusing treatment with Xolair(for allergy induced asthma) even though I meet all the criteria. Can i sue Medicaid over this?

What reason are they giving you for the refusal?

Xolair is a *very* expensive drug. You have to meet very strict parameters to get it approved for treatment. Did you appeal the decision - you can try that. Your doctor need to send a letter indicating you cannot function without it if that is the case.

As asked by cbg, why did they not approve it for treatment?
