Default F-1 Visa Holder Getting Married to a US Citizen

    Hi,
I'm a F-1 visa holder that has violated her status. I'm working without dhs authorization. Even though my ssn says "valid to work with dhs authorization only", I still got hire and I have been working since 2005.
I have also kept my require units and pass my clases.
I have also been filing taxes.

    My questions are:
    1. should I get a lawyer for my case?
    2. Will i have prolems applying for a green card one married?
    3. What are the forms that I need to file once married?

    Thanks for your answers

    1. should I get a lawyer for my case?
Heavens yes. Working without authorization can get you deported.

Find a good attorney, and address your other questions to him or her once you have the employment issue sorted out.
