    Default Forced to Go Back to Work Before Time

    My question involves workers compensation law for the state of: La. pre-trial mediation was reschedule. this week gone, didn't rec'd weekly check. did rec'd notice from voc-rehab. hired by ins. co. and employer. to report to work on last day of this month. how could they send me back to work before i have been to PT., and to pre-trial mediation. with a lawsuit against my employer. sound like they are giving me some rope to hang myself. I feel strongely against returning to work not fully recovered. been injured since dec.07. last saw dr. april08. believe condition has worsened. don't know what to do. please help.

    Have your treaters continued your disability, or have they deferred to the conclusions of voc-rehab that you're ready to return to work?

    big different report from both drs.' one common agreement- able to return on restricted duty.-employer created a new position-janitor- used to do this kind of work before i recieved training in truck driving.didn't report towork when told to do so. the new position requires the usage of the same area of body that was injured. having recieved no type of treatment or physical therapy.[except being forced to heal on my own.]cervical area[ 2 bulging disc] both shoulders and arms. both scapular area. left foot. pre-trial mediation was postponed due to storm. how could the believe that after all that i been through and still going through, that i will go back there and eventually be fired? all i wanted was adequat medical treatment. which i haven't rec'd as of today. can they stop my weekly check before being seen by court apointed dr. what should i do?
