Unhappy Will Payment of Fines Dismiss a Warrant?

My question involves an arrest warrant from the State of: Ohio

I am on misdemeanor probation in the state of Ohio and currently residing in Florida. I owe fines and haven't paid and failed to appear before my P.O. I now have a couple of warrants issued for "failure to appear" and "failure to pay fiines". Someone told me if I pay the fines, the warrant will be dismissed and I won't go to jail. Is this true?
