Wink Changing Court Dates, Good Strategy?

My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: Texas

Just curious, is changing the court date a few times a good strategy to avoid paying a fine on a speeding ticket?

    Has anyone done this?

You can try it. Nobody can promise that the court will approve any or all of the requested adjournments, or that it will prevent the officer from appearing.

In my experience, the price of moving a court date is roughly the amount of the fine.
