My question involves criminal law for the state of: California
One year ago I was charged with a felony for possession of controlled substance (cocaine). I pled guilty in exchange for successfully attending a drug program and having the charges dropped six months from now. Will this information remain on my record for future employers to review? If so, is it possible to have the record sealed? If sealing is feasible, what would be the procedure and final results? Are there other alternatives?
