    Default Buy Out

My question involves child support in the State of: MN

I am considering a buyout (give cp one lump sum of money) to leave me alone re money. This would be for past and future support of the kids. Will the courts allow this if CP and I agreed on an amount?

Typically that is not allowed because future CS is always modifiable. However, in some situations it can be allowed. The best thing to do will be to get a short consult with a local attorney who will most likely know how your particular Judge views this type of agreement.
