Can I Get Emancipated Hastily?

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: PA
I am 17 and i will be 18 in a month in a half. MY mother said that it was ok for me to leave however when i moved out and into the place of residence i reside at now i had to transfer schools. However due to not being 18 yet the school wont let me unless my mother signs a form and gets it notarized which she doesnt have the means to do and isnt extremely willing to do. I was thinking about emancipation so i would be able to enroll myself and not miss any more days of school. can someone help me? i dont want anything to happen to my mom but i dont want to miss school.

The process of emancipation will take months, and you don't give us enough information in your post to have the beginning of a clue as to if you'd even qualify (are you TOTALLY self supporting, paying your own rent, in your own place, groceries, health insurance, etc. - if not, then emancipation isn't an option). So either get mom to sign the form (notary service isn't prohibitively expensive, check with your local Kinkos or similar place), or start making plans to attend school in mom's district for a month and then transfer once you're 18 and able to sign yourself up.

PA does not appear to have a statute for process making it even more difficult.

IF the emancipation process will take months then i should just wait to turn 18 since i only have to wait a month and a half really. My mom was unwilling to help me tranfers for school or even sign the afdavit form at first but i persuaded her. Thank you for all your help and i would do it if i was just turning 17 but now its not worth it. Im not completely self sufficient my cousin and i are roomies we go half on the bills.

You would be emancipated by virtue of turning 18 before you could even get a court date.

Waiting it out is, indeed your ONLY option.
