Can anyone give me an advice?
I am a U.S citizen and I have a younger brother who lives in China. He is 22 years old. He is the only siblings left in China. I recently got my father his permanent resident card due to medical treatment he needed in the states. I filed an I130 for my younger brother but we are just waiting for it to get approved. I was checking the status on his application and of course it is going to take another 9 years to get approved.
He does have a visitors visa but will be expiring in July 2009 that he will need to get renew. What can I do in the meanwhile? I have a sick father that I'm scared he will pass on soon and my younger brother will get denied to get his visitor's visa and will not be to see my father.
How can I speed up this process for his permanent visa? I am financially helping my brother so it puts a big strain on my financial. My brother does want to come to the U.S and work. Should I apply for a work visa? NOw, they might denied him in China since I did already apply for his permanent resident card. What do I do?
